Here comes my latest Painting of a colourful, traditional Folk lady, based on Madhubani Patachitra. As they say, sometime, it's an inner wish which reflects in art. I have a dream to have a "Ghaagra" (Long Skirt) as my possession since childhood. Long back, One of my maternal cousin sisters, gifted me a beautiful dark green coloured Rajasthani Ghagra from The Treasure Island, New Market. It used to be a "Princess Moment" for me, whenever I wore that piece of beauty😉(i had a pretty good numbers of fans & followers at that time 🙊). The skirt is still there with Maa😍.  Unfortunately, it's was a straight skirt, completely opposite to the one I wanted😢. So, the search remain still on until my parent's last visit to Jaipur, couple of years back. I particularly demanded the "Ghoomar Wala Ghaagra". They not only kept my wish🥰, also made a video call from the shop and asked me to choose the colour and the design. As usual the poor shop keeper was confused, distressed and astonished to see such craziness and bizarre family moments🤓🤦‍♀️. Finally, I have got almost the same piece, which I wanted. Though, My search is still on for a bigger version of "Ghoomar Wala Ghaagra" 🙊🤷‍♀️. 

Coming back to my second canvas painting during Lockdown, I am a "Googloholic" as well as "Pinterestoholic"😂. The actual picture was simply beautiful and I couldn't take my eyes off from that aesthetic piece of beauty. I have modified my painting a bit with "আপন মনের মাধুরী মিশায়ে". Mistakes are there as usual, but I want to be stick with my "Partner in Crime" , As she pointed out that "Mistake makes Potochitra or Madhubani arts more beautiful"😍. Though, the moment I saw the face of the lady and the colourful "Ghoomar Wala Ghaagra" I forgot everything! 🙈

||আমার দিদা||

আমার ঠাকুমা আমার জীবনের একজন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মানুষ। অনেক দিন ধরে ইচ্ছা ছিল ওনাকে নিয়ে আমার কাটানো সময়ের কথা লিখে রাখা। পাঁচটি গল্প লিখেছি প্রথম অধ্যায়ে, যাতে ওনার অনুপস্থিতিতে ও ওনাকে কাছে পাই। আশাকরি ভাল লাগবে।।  ।।আমার দিদা।।  পর্ব: ১ আমার জন্মের আগে আমার "দিদা" মারা যান। শোকাতুর মা কে ডেকে একদিন ঠাকুমা আদর করে বলেছিলেন যে তোর মেয়ে আমাকে "দিদা" বলেই ডাকবে, আমি ওকে দিদার অভাব বোধ করতে দেব না কখনো।  কথা রেখেছিলেন। জীবনের শেষ দিন অবধি "আমার দিদা" ছিল আমার সবচেয়ে প্রিয় বন্ধু।  পর্ব: ২ আমার দিদা বেশ মজার মানুষ ছিলেন। অনেক সময়ে নিজের অজান্তেই এমন অনেক কাণ্ড ঘটাতেন, তাতে আমরা হেসে গড়াগড়ি খেতাম কিন্তু তিনি নিজে থাকতেন অবিচলিত কখনো বা স্মিতহাস্য। সে অনেক দিন আগেকার কথা। আমি নেহাতই তখন শিশু। সপরিবারে দিল্লি থেকে বেড়িয়ে ফেরত আসার দিনের ঘটনা। তখন আবার এখনকার মতন এ সি কামরার চল ছিলনা, স্লিপার ক্লাস ই ছিল ভরসা। দুপুরে খাওয়া দাওয়ার পর যখন সবাই দিবানিদ্রা দিচ্ছে, দিদা তখনও জেগে, ছটফটে মানুষ হলে যা হয় আর কি। যাইহোক, ট্রেন কানপুর স্টেশনে দাড়াতে তিনি ...

||I Miss My Office During The Pandemic||

There are lot of reasons to be in Love with my workplace. My office is in a big Tech Park in Chennai, and is surrounded by lot of greeneries🌿☘️🌳 which is really unusual these days in a city life. It's Obvious that I miss working in the Office environment, long chats with my Team, Physical Team Meetings, Birthday Celebrations, Biriyani Treats,Tea Breaks etc️. I miss Office Events, the only chance to get decked up with sarees and matching jewelleries. I miss Dominos and Hunan. I miss Afreen and Anu, my office besties and Gossips, hours of sharing baseless thoughts. I miss my cubicle, my second home, where I spent hours with countless emotions and it's the witness of many successes, failures and fight backs.
